[Review] Acnes Creamy Wash & Sealing Jell

SEBUM is the oily substance that is naturally discharged from the oil glands of the skin.

High sebum discharge rate = High tendency for acne.

Sebum discharge rate controlled mainly by male hormone (testosterone).

Acne or pimples are a naturally occurring skin problem that usually develops as you go through puberty. Approximately 85% of all people between age 12 – 25 will develop acne to some degree.

Proper care for the skin can help to prevent & reduce pimples. A suitable Acne Skincare regimen can help to solve your pimple problems.

Acnes Medicated Skincare has a full skincare range to help you prevent & clear your pimples! Acnes believe that by helping teenagers to defeat their acne problem, it will help them increase their self esteem and develop confidence in themselves!

First up:
Acnes Mentholatum Creamy Wash $6.90
I have previously blogged about this creamy wash. You can read about it here

•Remove excess oil, dirt and impurities
•Prevents pimples effectively
•Keeps skin soft & moist
•Mild & non-irritating wash

This wash smells mildly medicated. Texture is creamy and smooth. Simply squeeze out a small amount onto palm. Lather with water and massage gently onto face. You just need to squeeze out a little bit and it will produce quite a lot of lather which will be enough for your face. My face felt dry after use though. This may be more suitable for people with oily skin.

Sealing Jell

•Kills acne bacteria from deep inside of pores
•Concentrated point care of acne
•Medical care instead of squeezing acne
•Oil-free light gel

There's a slight medicated scent to it. It's not overpowering and doesn't smell strong. It comes in a tube so squeeze out the desired amount to apply. The purpose of this sealing jell is to regulate skin condition and prevent formation. Simply use your fingertips and apply on affected area. This sealing jell feels soothing and gentle to the skin so it is okay to apply it onto my pimples even if I'm going out. I don't have to worry about it being oily or shiny.

I'll update this space again to see if the sealing jell is really effective once a big pimple pops out (hopefully not!!).
