I had an awesome food trail at Bugis+ yesterday!
If you haven't been to Bugis+ (formally known as Illuma) yet, you should! There are so many eateries and restaurants there.
We spent 6 hours plus eating non-stop during this food trail! It was crazy and challenging for the tummy but it was so much fun!!
In total, we went to 11 different restaurants/cafes. In this blog post, I am going to blog about the first 2 stops that we headed to.
1st stop: Taipei Station
Taipei Station is a small cafe that sells taiwanese popular street food as well as bubble teas.
Sweet Potato Fries $3.00
Crispy Chicken in Original Flavour (also available in cheese or wasabi) $4.50
This is a hot favourite and a star item!
Star item: Crispy Chicken in Cheese Flavour
Meat is tender and cheese seasoning is not overpowering, just right!
Crispy Vegetable Combo $4.50
a healther choice among all the fried foods maybe? Batter is crispy and it makes the vegetables so tasty!
Braised Pork with Rice
this is well-seasoned and really yummy! $4.90
The last one is the famous Oyster Rice Vermicelli $4.90
For side dishes, there are 4 different flavours to choose from - Seaweed, Plum, Wasabi, Cheese.
Prices are relatively reasonable for the portion. Furthermore, there are seats for you to sit down and eat unlike many taiwanese snack stalls where it's a buy-and-go thing!

2nd stop: Laksania
If you follow me on instagram, you will know that I am an avid lover of laksa! Laksania is the place for me woohoo! It's my third visit to Laksania actually, and I will definitely be back for more!
Kelantan Laksa $7.50
This is something different from the usual laksas. The soup base is not spicy at all that is why they place a mouthful of chilli paste on the side. The main ingredient inside is mackerel fish! You can't really see obvious chunks of fish meat inside but when you eat it, you can feel the fish taste. Yellow ginger is used that's why the colour is more to the yellowish side. I really hate ginger so I was surprised that Kelantan Laksa contains ginger because I can't taste the ginger at all!
Chicken Satay (3 pcs $3.80)
The satay meat is very tender and well-seasoned. What is unique about this is that it is served with laksa dip instead of the typical satay peanut sauce! It is a unique combination that will leave you wanting for more.
Sarawak Laksa $7.50
Vermicelli with shredded chicken and egg.
It has a kinda exotic taste. For this, it's either you love or hate it!
Singapore Laksa $6.50
This is a popular choice among the locals here! It is one of the best laksas I have tasted so far :)
Laksania also sells many different kinds of laksa such as Laksa Goreng, Laksa Pasta, Lasagna and so on!
